Amazing how the best thing on Television in a long time was a show about shows not good enough to be on television.
Anyway, this showcase of failed pilots was great! It was a clip show, and it kept rolling. They had plenty of content too, that's the problem with so many "newsy" shows, it's all promo (we we come back! and Just before the break you saw!)
Did anyone catch this last night? What was your favorite?
The robot ones were classic, and the Peter Boyle as a dog cop show was so bad... wait, not as bad as the cop who had a toy robot dinosaur for a son.

it was on ABC last night.
It should be on again some time. It's like those "Most Outrageous Game Show Moments"
(which are great)
that they play when they know they're going to lose to another station.
(this time to the Olympics)

I saw that!!! I think the best was the cop who's kids soul ended up in a toy dragon. And when his dad was in trouble, he turned into a fire breathing robot dinosaur!
Gaaaaaaaaah!
I'd love to see a show of failed pilots, but I knew nothing about this.
Was "Clerks" included in it?

actually, clerks had a successful pilot and one episode made it to air.

And 2 episodes of the Clerks cartoon were aired.
Yepo - caught that last night.
Some had me rolling in laughter. Others were "what the fu..?"
That one with the som having been reincarnated into a Robot was the worst of the lot. Although I do remember a couple of them having been turned into Sci-Fi movies (like the Chameleon), and it was funny to see the one called "Keys" with Marge Hildberger.
Having a CSI show with her waltzing around in bikinis and and standing in siloutte naked would have been good to see
Best unpromoted show on network TV. The thing had me rolling. Fuzzlebucket had me in tears.
I didn't see all of it. I just started watching when they were showing the super hero shows. Those were some kind of awful.
The fuzzlebucket was hilarious. What a fugly little thing.
